Description
When connecting to an IRC server and the nickname is temporarily unavailable the connection will fail with a time out like this:
17:48 -!- Connecting to irc.freenode.net port 6667... 17:48 -!- Connection to irc.freenode.net established 17:48 -!- Logging in... 17:48 !holmes.freenode.net *** Looking up your hostname... 17:48 !holmes.freenode.net *** Checking Ident 17:48 !holmes.freenode.net *** Couldn't look up your hostname 17:48 !holmes.freenode.net *** No Ident response 17:48 -!- tohuw Nick/channel is temporarily unavailable 17:49 Closing Link: 208.102.207.73 (Connection timed out) 17:49 -!- Disconnected from irc.freenode.net
