Description
Did a search on the topic but couldn't find anything related therefore I am making a new ticket.
How to reproduce:
Say I am chatting with user userA in private and suddenly he decides to change his name to userB and sends me another message.
This opens up another query window from userB leaving me with a conversation that is split amongst two screens.
The expected behaviour:
userA changes name to userB -> query window is updated to userB so private messages still go in to the same window.
The solution:
Granted that the user is in at least one common channel smuxi would be able to detect the namechange and update the users nickname accordingly.
Possible problems?
UserA disconnects and userC changes his/her name to userA and sends a private message -> the old userA window is reused for a different user

I agree that Smuxi should do this but right now the protocol of Smuxi does not support renaming a chat, neither the ID nor the name. The protocol will be re-designed around 0.9 or a 1.0 release, which will then support this, see: http://live.gnome.org/Smuxi/Protocol/Zero
