Description

Issue: Emoji does not seem to be working on Windows (Windows 7 tested), but works on Fedora.
Steps taken: Type an emoji (eg, :boom:) and send.
Expected result: Emoji shown
Actual result: Nothing shown, but a character of some sort is there

I have attached an image of it not working, along with an image of me attempting to drag it.
